Luke is a Chartered Physiotherapist from Wales, UK. He first completed his Undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy at Hartpury University before achieving a Distinction in his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham.Luke has experience working in semi-professional rugby union and football, before going on to work within the NHS. Most recently, he was a Senior Physiotherapist at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, one of Europe’s largest specialist orthopaedic hospitals. Here, he provided expert care in lower limb, paediatric and post-operative rehabilitation. Luke has also worked in specialist upper limb clinics and chronic pain management. Alongside his NHS roles, he worked in a well-established private practice, treating recreational athletes.He has a particular interest in strength and conditioning and evidence based rehabilitation, recently publishing research in peer-reviewed literature on the effects of exercise in managing neck pain. Outside of work, Luke enjoys weightlifting, long distance running, hiking and travel.
