Rachel Keane is an experienced physiotherapist with a background in private practice, working with a diverse clientele ranging from Olympic athletes to everyday individuals. A former sprinter who represented Ireland in the 100m and 4x100m events, as well as playing Gaelic Football at both county and provincial levels, bringing firsthand knowledge of athletic demands and injury management to her work. Rachel is particularly interested in sports rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and supporting female athletes.
Her approach to physiotherapy is grounded in evidence-based practice, and she is skilled in advanced dry needling and is a certified Matwork Pilates instructor. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick and her past experience includes roles with Galway United Academy and Galway Minor Hurler teams, alongside some Irish hospital work.
Rachel’s sessions at Movement 101 are tailored to each individual, focusing on recovery, strength, and improving each person functional capacity.
