Jemma has over 10 years’ experience in private practice. She completed her undergrad and postgrad studies in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physio in South Africa and has since been all over the world (Scotland, England, New Zealand).
Through this, she has established connections with a diverse range of individuals and cultures. She has worked and travelled with amateur and professional sporting teams (Scottish Rugby, Scottish Football Youth Elite squads, Touch World Cup and World Transplant Games). She adopts a holistic treatment approach and tailors each treatment program specifically to your needs. She has a special interest in overuse injuries, post-operative rehab, women’s health and youth sporting injuries. Her aim is to get each person back to feeling their best self and doing what they love. She was drawn to the profession to help others navigate the physical demands of sports and activity and overcome the barriers of injury and surgical recovery.
Jemma has from a young age competed in various sporting disciplines. Nowadays, she directs her energy towards multi-sport endurance events (anything involving a bicycle or trails and you’ve got her sold!). Jemma is not just about the sports scene; she loves being artsy; finding the next best cocktail bar and grooving to live music.
