Annika is passionate about ensuring everyone can engage in exercise and remain active. Her objective is to assist individuals in alleviating discomfort, increasing strength, and enhancing their physical capabilities.
She completed her Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at UNSW, specialising in pilates and strength training. Having faced multiple sports injuries herself, Annika understands the challenges of training with pain and the importance of building strength to prevent further injuries. She prides herself on her empathetic approach and prioritises understanding her clients' individual needs.
Annika works extensively with clients dealing with various injuries and health conditions such as back pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, cancer, diabetes, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. She also has expertise in pre/post-natal exercise, managing gym-related injuries, ski/snowboard preparation (having previously been a snow sports instructor), and assisting with weight loss. Outside of her professional commitments, Annika frequents the gym daily. During weekends, she enjoys activities like ocean swimming, walking with friends, cycling, and skiing.
