Danny Richards Senior Physiotherapist | Neutral Bay
Danny completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2017, at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.
From there, he went to work in the NHS, gaining experience in orthopaedics as well as musculoskeletal injuries. Alongside this, he also built up in the private sector and youth rep football (soccer).
Danny has always had a passion for strength training, and how he can bring it to the general population, especially people who may have thought that it’s not for them! He enjoys health coaching, and helping people make sustainable changes with a long-term vision. He loves being able to help people learn more about moving their body and break through their own doubts as to what they're capable of.
Danny was attracted to Physiotherapy through lots of his own sporting injuries – 2 ACL reconstructions and a lengthy spell on the sidelines, as well as lots of hamstring and knee issues. Seeing the positive effect the right physio can have on someone, pushed him to want to be able to be that person for someone else.
Outside of work, Danny plays Division 1 rugby union for Lindfield, as well as playing golf (badly) and he is trying to explore as much of Australia as he can with his partner. Last but by no means least, he is always on the lookout for good coffee and cake recommendations!
