Monique completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Albury. Her clinical training encompassed a range of clinical settings from metropolitan to rural health with a focus on patient centred care.
Monique had the opportunity to design and implement a Chronic Pain Pilot Program consisting of exercises classes at Aquamoves, Shepparton which was successful enough to be run as a permanent program. Monique is passionate about facilitating and empowering her clients to reach their goals and improve their quality of life. Her love for holistic health, fitness and achieving a positive change in her clients drives her love for physiotherapy. She enjoys treating those with sporting injuries, neck and lower back pain and working with those that have had some time off sport/exercise and need a helping hand to improve their mental and physical health by moving their bodies.
Monique was previously a national level gymnast, has completed an 8-day trek to Everest Base Camp and regularly enters into fun runs. In her spare time, Monique can be found hiking, doing a handstand where she can, and attempting to find a good cup of coffee at local cafes (being a coffee snob from Melbourne).
