​Moore Park is a tiny suburb located in the south-eastern suburbs of Sydney in the state of NSW, Australia. Moore Park is a part of Centennial Parklands, which is a collective of 3 parks: Moore Park, Queens Park, Centennial Park. The park was named after Charles Moore, who was a Mayor of Sydney City. And it quickly became the major focus for sporting events and entertainment. Moore Park was the venue for the first polo match that was played in Australia.

The Anzac Parade and Eastern Distributor are major roads on the western border of Moore Park. Sydney buses frequently operate through the path from CBD, and there are usually special services for sporting events operated from the Central railway station. Residents of Moore Park mostly do their shopping at the Mount Pleasant, Yonge and St. Clair, and Davisville shopping districts. These places are well known for their gourmet food and fine dining.

The suburb is the location of the two biggest sporting venues in Sydney: the Sydney Football Stadium and Sydney Cricket Ground. The Moore Park Golf, Kippax Lake, the E.S. Marks Athletics Field, the Parklands Sports Centre, and a couple of other sports fields. The suburb is surrounded on all sides by different natural barriers. To the southern part of the Moore Park is the Park Drive Ravine, while you will find Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the northern part. At the west is the Vale of Avoca Ravine, and the east has the Moore Park Ravi.
