​Arncliffe is a popular residential suburb southwest of the Sydney CBD that offers a reasonable balance of access to central Sydney and affordability. The suburb has close proximity to Wolli Creek Station, the main transport hub. And while it doesn’t have much character, the suburb does retain a fairly tight-knit community vibe for old residents - although it is changing gradually as it continues to expand.

Demographic-wise, Arncliffe leans slightly Asian and heavily Middle-Eastern, with some amazing Lebanese food options. Arncliffe also provides a mixture of bigger complex food stores and smaller ones towards the Wolli Creek side with large liquor a supermarket for needs. There are a number of schools in Arncliffe that cater to all ages. There are several amazing parks, such as Kogarah Golf Club that sits on the Cooks River, and it is also relatively close to many beaches.

While Arncliffe is close to the international airport, it is not located under the flight paths. It is bordered on the north by Wolli Creek and Turella, on the south by Rockdale and Banksia, on the east by Cooks River, and west by Bardwell Valley. While there is not much when it comes to bigger dining or pubs, Arncliffe is a short drive to suburbs like Rockdale that offer such services.
