​Bardwell Valley is a southern Sydney suburb in the state of NSW, Australia. The suburb is located 12 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district and is one of the many suburbs that is included in the St George region. The suburb is predominately a residential area and was named after Thomas Hill Bardwell, a free settler who owned acres of land in the area. Some attractive sandstone cottages that have been around since the 20th century are still available today in East Street. Before the Europeans settled in Bardwell Valley, the suburb was a major part of the lands that belonged to the Cadigal people.

Bardwell Valley was created in 1996 from a section of Arncliffe that bordered creek and valley. After the development of the Bardwell Park and Ancliffe areas during the 1900s, this suburb was the last area with any meaningful natural vegetation coverage. The suburb also has a couple of parks and recreational centres. The Bardwell Valley Golf Course is located at the side of the banks of Bardwell Creek. Hillcrest Avenue is also home to Bardwell Valley Golf Club.

Silver Jubilee Park is situated at Lorraine Avenue beside the golf course. Silver Jubilee Park is situated alongside the golf course on Lorraine Avenue. Shepherd Reserve Coolibah Reserve and Favell Picnic Area are located alongside Bardwell Creek. An olive grove was established in Silver Jubilee Park by The Cite of Rockdale to commemorate the Australian Greek community's contribution to the development of the City of Rockdale.
