Sian Henderson Senior Physiotherapist and Clinic Manager | Cremorne
Sian completed her bachelor with honours degree in physiotherapy in 2012 at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Following graduation Sian worked for the National Health Service in a rotational post, developing knowledge and skills in different areas of physiotherapy practice including stroke and neurology, with a bias towards orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries.
In 2016 Sian decided to pursue her dream to travel the world and set off on a round-the-world trip. Upon landing in Australia, she fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to make Sydney her home from home. It was here she started her career in private practice, where she has treated a wide variety of sports and orthopaedic injuries whilst working alongside, and learning from, a number of highly experienced sports physiotherapists. She has helped manage injury clinics for Roosters Junior teams and has worked alongside cast and crew members on film sets at Fox Studios.
Being from Scotland, she is an enthusiastic supporter and follower of rugby union and has provided weekend coverage for rugby union teams both in Edinburgh and here in Sydney. She is driven to educate patients on the nature of their condition, and how to manage their injuries appropriately and prevent recurrence long term.
Outside of work, Sian enjoys playing hockey and likes to keep active by running and going to the gym. On weekends you will usually find her outdoors swimming, kayaking or hiking!
